Gobble,gobble,gobble

Over the river and through the woods, up the canyon we go....

We visited some gobblers and wished them good luck during the next few days before Thanksgiving.

Some folks in our ward raise Elk in their back yard. People have lots of interesting hobbies!
I have been on a painting streak lately. I swore that I would never raise a paintbrush again after I painted and caulked our whole house 4 1/2 years ago, but I have been noticing the nicks and smudges on the walls, so once again I am wielding the mighty brush. I painted the den/office with a Ralph Lauren finish and it looks so great! You can't see it in the picture but the walls really look like a suede finish.

We miss our dad. He is our 'Sunday-reader-of-Stories'. But he was gone for a 3 day National Guard weekend and we missed out. This is our favorite way to spend cold, winter evenings and Sunday afternoons--- reading a great book and sitting by the fire. We are looking forward to making quilts and teddy bears for humanitarian.

Brandt loves his big brother. They have fun together doing karate on each other and wrestling. Talon says that he is 'faster than a piranha stripping the meat off of a cow when it comes to chasing Brandt up the stairs.'

I heard it with my own ears

Dance-a-Rama

Aubree performed in a Stake Dance Festival. She did great and it was fun to watch all of the kids. The dancing was really pretty awful, but we enjoyed the expressions on their faces.

Cute Auber-doo!
