Yep, I found it...and it was here all along. The fountain of youth is right out my back door. Look! It's beginning to work already! That's me with the flower in my hair. I don't look a day over 11, or 23, or 34'ish...We and our friends had a lovely day exploring the geo-thermic activity that is occuring right on the mountain-side of Monroe.Yikes! The water temperature is 120degree's or more. A little warm for a relaxing soak. Whoever said Monroe wasn't a 'hot' place to live is sorely mistaken.

Ponce de Leon...eat your heart out...or roll over in your grave...or something like that.

The big *1-4* Hooray! Aubree is 14 and she is an awesome young lady. She is almost complete with her Young Womenhood award, but decided she wants to do it again because the girls can now earn two Recognition awards.

Crazy cousin week...Raina, Brooke, and the gang performed an impromptu talent show for their patient parents when Andria and Travis came to pick them up. We were treated to an interpretive dance, modeling session, spoon playing, magic tricks, and other hilarious displays that produced levity and laughter for all involved. Brooke is bubbling with bombastic merriment.
Brandt-tilla the Hun.Lindsey displaying great angst and pathos....true characteristics for the young and restless.
All you other modeling diva's move over...the true Diva is IN THE HOUSE.The interpretive modern dance was mirth provoking. These two had the audience eating out of their hands...we are all now true fans of the Cameron and Devan duo.

birthday fun

Thirty-eight was great, but thirty-nine will be divine. Happy Birthday to ME!! I was trying to decide what to ask for my birthday and it was a toss up between Botox or a bone-scan...The botox for beautifying purposes and the bone-scan to see if I my hip is broken yet. Fortunately, I didn't feel to feeble and so Chad and I hiked up to Angel's Landing in Zion on my birthday. We have a 20 year date to go back and hike it again because we are highly effective people. (Steve Covey would be proud--planning with the end in mind--habit #4) As we hiked up the trail we decided to have a mini-competition between the 20-somethings ahead of us and see who would be the first up. Well, it was easy-squeasy...we kicked generation y's booty. They obviously have been watching a lot of reality t.v., listening to their ipods while on face-book, and playing video games. Not only the hike, but I bet we Gen-X'ers could have also beat them at an intense game of pac-man, a big-hair competition, and a gnarly name that 80's tune contest.
I don't consider my self old yet. Old is when you get into your 40's or somewhere in there.
Thanks for a fabulous birthday-day, Chad. It was better than the biggest chocolate chip cookie in the world.

You know what's weird? When you wake up in the middle of the night and there is a stranger next to you. I couldn't figure out who it was. Did one of the kids crawl in bed with me? Who is this person. Raina? No--- too big. Aubree? Another strike. Talon? No--- too hairy. (Ohhh, I really hope it's not Cain) This was starting to freak me out a little. Finally it dawned on me that it was my husband. Oh, yeah...I have one of those. Sometimes I forget, especially when he is gone for large amounts of time.

christmas in july

I'm so glad when Daddy comes Home!! Brandt looks like a medieval warrior.Well, if the sword fits. He returned bearing gifts. Guten Tag, Chadvick Von Williamstein.
This will be absolutely perfect to add to my nativity collection. I can already here the sleigh bells ringing and children singing on a frosty silent night. CHRISTMAS!!! Bring it On!
