This is what you do at 12:30 a.m. while waiting for your extrememly handsome 17 year old son to come home from a hot date while driving a large SUV and your husband is 1,000 miles away from home and you just watched a show about teens and driving and your head aches and the Tylenol is not working and you hope you never, ever, ever get a call in the middle of the night--- You put a collage of pictures together endlessly arranging them over and over remembering the good times and the fun times and the happy times and the times which were so lovely that you just had to scream.




By the way...I think dating should be banned.

Spring is for Science and we have had some Mad Scientist's in the house. First we will start with a little chemical reaction that creates a beautiful mini-garden.

Add:

2T Table Salt

2T Liquid Bluing

2T Ammonia

2T Water

Pour over some cut-up sponges or other porous material and voila'! A beautiful crystal garden made of deadly chemicals right in the convenience of your own home.

Aubree grew these crystals from scratch. They are so sparkly that I am thinking of wearing them and starting a new trend. Maybe I will market them on Etsy---they could be earrings! Yes! Science marries fashion.

Micro-biology = the little-bity-icky-commitee

Bio-luminescent bacteria /a.k.a. --- e.coli on steroids (glow in the dark bacteria). It is awesome to look at and I think we saw a culture of Casseopia sitting there in the petri-dish. The kids also got a chance to look at other kinds of bacteria while visiting Snow College. You would be interested to know how much bacteria actually lives inside of your body, but I don't want to disturb anyone's rest tonight so that will be for another time.

Weapons of mass destruction given to them by the elves from riven-dale protect them on their journey.

Mt. Doom erupts with rage as the precious is thrown in.

All the friends celebrate with gifts, feasting, and laughter. Hilarity ensues for the rest of the day.

 Happy Birthday Bill-Bo-Brandt. Frodo-Brandt has a mission to complete and it begins with his Hobbiton Cake. The journey of  journeys from shire to Mordor.

Aragorn bequethed his sword upon Legolas-Brandt in order to save the realm. Middle Earth is in danger and the forces of evil are threatening the peace of the land. Only the wise and brave can over come the peril that threatens the hobbits, elves, dwarves, and men. Legolas-Brandt is ready to save the day with his bow and now his sword.

 Brandt received some karate sparring gloves which will help improve his fighting skills. Orcs, uraki, and ring-wraiths are evil opponents that beset him along his epic quest. However, Brandt-WiseGamgee never loses sight of his true goal. He seeks solitude, at times because of his suffering, but he will never lets cruel injustice deter him.

Looking into the depths of space will enable

Gandalf-Brandt-the-Grey 

to understand astrononmy and read the signs of the

stars with his new telescope. Sauran's eye will never cease watching, but through devotion Gandalf-Brandt-the-Gray will ovecome it's evil power. This new task appointed unto him will give him wisdom and help him destroy the dark powers of Mordor, Saruman, and the power of the Ring.

For dinner I think we will have potatoes precious. You know....boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew.

Brandt had an awesome racer. It was speedy quick and so fast that it almost lit up the race-track. He won every race and is going to state! Well, region or district or whatever it is called. Good job, buddy! And kudos to dad for the aero-dynamic design that mastered the physics of downward thrust, friction, inertia, and gravity.
