Red Leg Social

On September 12 , Chad and I attended a military formal at the Hilton in Salt Lake City. It was a really nice event and I got to visit with some of the wives that were in Charlie Battery while the 222nd was deployed. I love to go to the Military Ball because Chad looks so dang handsome in his dress blue's :)

These are Chad's former lieutenants who are really great guys...Jeremy Williams and Mike Kjar.

I received my Molly Pitcher award for the service I rendered as the Family Readiness Group Leader. I served from 2005-2006 before and during the deployment. It was a good experience and I met a lot of nice people. We had monthly gatherings and I also put together a newsletter which I enjoyed doing.

Me with my well deserved and earned Molly Pitcher award for faithful and dedicated service to the Artillery.
Molly was a brave woman who manned an artillery piece when her husband fell wounded during a critical battle of the Revolutionary War. Go, Molly!

I'm so proud of both of you for your willingness to serve and your dedication to the support of our great country. Chad does look handsome in his dress blues, and you look beautiful, too. That's a very nice picture of both of you with your award.

You both look awesome dressed up. There are simply not enough formals to go to anymore. It is great that the military has formal nights. Congratulations on the Molly Pitcher award. You worked so hard as the group leader. You deserve it 100%. I bet the occassion was a wonderful night to remember.
