Fall is definetly in the air. The mornings have been cool and the evenings are wonderful. The kids are getting very excited about Halloween already. I love the crisp apples, orange pumpkins and colorful leaves. We are looking forward to our annual trip to gather the colors of autumn and bring them into our home. We always make decorations from the changed leaves and we look forward to making the house look so pretty with the reds, yellows and bronze colors.
The sun was hitting the mountain in such a pretty way while the lower foothills were in shadow while we enjoyed an evening out on the porch.
Here are my fellers--Brandt and his friend Tushar. They helped me pick this great big melon from our garden. They especially liked eating it too. I watch Tushar when he gets done with kindergarten and they play like wild boys all afternoon long. It's great fun!

Looks like a nice melon. Wish I had seen your yard this summer. It must have been - and still is - beautiful with all the flowers. You have a very green thumb!
Thanks! The flower garden was really pretty this year and it was especially fun because we started lots of seeds in the window sill early in the spring.
I love the fall time. The chill in the air and colorful decorations. I love how it is not too cold yet but cold enough to bundle up with blankets for movies. The little I have seen of your flowers in the pictures look beautiful. And that watermelon...my kids would be in heaven with one of those!
