We have been picking, sorting, bottling, and working on our harvest. We have had lots of tomatoes to can, almost 40 quarts, plus a couple dozen bottles of peaches and now three bushels of yummy, crisp apples. I am so glad that we live in a valley with orchards. Hopefully our own trees will produce someday, but we must be patient until then.
The bottles on Brandt's left are heirloom tomatoes. I thought I was getting the Amish 'Brandywine' variety, but was surprised to get yellow tomatoes , however they are really good.
Farmer Chad hard at work again. He is up with the chickens on a daily basis. Cock-a-doodle-doo! (Tarnell Fool)

What a beautiful harvest!Your peaches and tomatoes are beautiful, and will taste so yummy this coming winter..
Wow, look at you! We are just beginning the gardening thing. Unfortunately we did not know about picking the tomatoes and bell peppers before the first frost and lost them all. You live and learn..right? I would be so happy to get half a crop of what you got. That is awesome!Good job on the diaper cake. It is really cute!
