The most beautiful building in Washington D.C. is the Washington D.C. temple in Kensington, Maryland.

We had the privlege of attending a session and had a wonderful experience. It is incredible to see the temple from the freeway. The interior is exquisite.

A happy revolutionary guy.

We spent the afternoon at Mt. Vernon, home of George Washington. It was beautiful overlooking the Potomac river and the grounds were amazing. He was a brilliant man with numerous gifts.

Washington owned slaves, but treated them with respect and dignity.

The cupola where Washington observed the river and studied the stars.

The Potomac River.

Lovely walks and trails around the grounds.

Washington's tomb. He spent 8 years fighting the Revolutionary War and was gone from his beloved Martha & Mt. Vernon.

The pictures of the Temple are so beautiful.. it is the most sacred place.
It has to feel so humbling to be in a place of so much of the history of our fragile Nation.. Much to be learned from our founding Fathers. You two are true Patriots.
